I'll bet most of you didn't know that since our inception we've raised $12 million through capital campaigning, and I'll bet even more that you don't know just 80 corporations and individuals donated the funds!  Literally a few have done much to benefit so many - and it's time for that to change.

Those who have given - all 80 - will be asked to continue to give in substantially lesser amounts, but for the foundation to truly have legs, we must have the broad based support of thousands of donors.  So I've recommended to the EREF board a daunting task -- to get sustaining support from a few thousand people who make their living in the waste service industry and induct them as EREF's first members of its annual sustaining support level, the "Eagle Club".

Every year we spend about $1.2 to $1.5 million on projects and another $250,000 each year or so on operating expenses, but our small portfolio does not generate the interest needed to cover these costs.  So, with the help of the many we would like to receive commitments from:

100 donors giving $1,000 per year

500 donors giving $500 per year

1,000 donors giving $100 per year

2,000 donors giving $50 or less per year
