Michael Jobe was elected on August 3, 2005 to the board of directors of the
Environmental Research and Education Foundation (EREF) headquartered in
Alexandria, Virginia. EREF is the only independent foundation in the
United States working for a better environment through improved waste management
practices. His election to the EREF
board as a director is for a three-year term.
Jobe has served as
president of Heil Environmental since January 2003.
As president, Jobe oversees the company's Refuse Equipment Group, Truck
Equipment Group, Parts Central, Bayne Premium Lift Systems and Heil Europe.
He is responsible for all aspects of the company's operations worldwide,
including facilities in Chattanooga, Tenn., Fort Payne, Ala., Tishomingo, Miss.,
Greenville, S.C., and Hillend, Scotland.
Jobe spent 17 years
prior to Heil at Rotary Lift, the world leader in vehicle service lift systems,
moving through various key roles before being named president in 2000. Rotary
and Heil are both operating companies of Dover Corporation. As Rotary's president, Jobe focused the company on customer

addressing the changes, needs and regulatory requirements for each industry
being served. Jobe holds a
bachelor's degree in management from Sam Houston State University.
The Environmental
Research and Education Foundation is an independent public charity; its funding
base is derived from donations from corporations and individuals who are
