Holds Elections
for 2003 Officers and Directors
Alexandria, Va. - During its annual meeting held December 13, 2002 in Alexandria, Va., the Environmental Research and Education Foundation (EREF) held elections for various officer and director seats.
The following EREF officers were elected to one-year terms (through December 31, 2003):
Elected to Chairman - Deborah Hockman, Ph.D., former Sr. Vice President, Silliker Laboratories, Inc., Homewood, Ill.
Elected to Vice Chairman - Robert P. Stearns, P.E., DEE, Chairman, SCS Engineers, Long Beach, Calif.
Elected to Secretary-Treasurer - Kevin Walbridge, Regional Vice President-Central Region, Republic Services, Inc., Indianapolis, Ind.
The following EREF board members were re-elected to an additional three-year term (through December 31, 2005):
Leonard "Butch" Joyce, P.E., President, Joyce Engineering, Inc., Richmond, Va.
Ronald J. McCracken, President, RJM Manufacturing, Inc., Easley, S.C.
Debra R. Reinhart, Ph.D., P.E., Professor and Assoc. Dean for Research, College of Engineering, University of Central Florida, Orlando, Fla.
Robert P. Stearns, P.E., DEE, Chairman, SCS Engineers, Long Beach, Calif.
Kevin Walbridge, Regional Vice President-Central Region, Republic Services, Inc., Indianapolis, Ind.
The following individual was newly elected to the EREF board for a one-year term (through December 31, 2003):
