Progressive Waste Solutions and Advanced Disposal to Co-Host the EREF Fall Classic Golf Tournament

Raleigh, NC (July 8, 2013) – The 2013 Environmental Research & Education Foundation (EREF) Fall Classic Golf Tournament – to be held Thursday, September 26 at the PGA National Resort & Spa in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida – will be co-hosted by Progressive Waste Solutions and Advanced Disposal. The tournament will kick off with a Welcome Reception, sponsored by WCA Waste Corporation, on the evening of Wednesday, September 25. The tournament itself will begin at 8:30 am on Thursday and will be held on the Champion Course, which was redesigned by Jack Nicklaus in 1990 and now hosts the Honda Classic each spring on the PGA Tour. The tournament will be preceded by a Breakfast sponsored by Caterpillar, and followed by an Awards Luncheon. All proceeds from the tournament will support EREF’s mission, which is carried out by providing scholarships and grants for solid waste research.
